Full Time Job
Work within a collaborative, team-oriented Production Management environment to conduct Contract Compliance for deliverables across Discovery US Networks. Provide delivery & troubleshooting support to external vendors and internal teams. Participate in departmental initiatives/taskforces. This position will be based in the Los Angeles office. The position does not offer a relocation package.
Responsibilities
1. Track media, legal, and financial elements of production and licensed contracts, from inception to delivery and acceptance for all Discovery US Network programs
2. Facilitate and troubleshoot delivery and technical evaluation
3. Approve/reject deliverables according to Discovery contractual requirements
4. Complete final materials inventory, providing status of vendors’ contractual obligations to internal clients
5. Work in conjunction with multiple internal and external clients and teams, developing & maintaining positive relationships
6. Become proficient in Discovery’s Production Guide and all aspects of the production deliverables process
7. Facilitate and communicate Production Management deliverables procedures
8. Provide Producer’s Portal support to external clients and deliverables systems support to internal clients
9. Conduct any reporting & analytics needed related to above
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree preferred
* Minimum 2 years of television production experience, at a network or production company.
* Solid knowledge of production logistics, post-production process, and current industry standard practices.
* Technical proficiency is required. Candidate will be working with a variety of software applications including Discovery proprietary tools.
* Ability to apply project management skills and build relationships across teams internally & externally
* Strong interpersonal and writing skills.
* Candidate must have the ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
