Full Time Job
This role is in charge of obtaining requirements by verifying, preparing, and forwarding purchase orders; verifying receipt of items; authorizing payment.
Responsibilities
1. Process goods and services through purchase orders generated in SRM/SAP.
2. Research most cost-efficient pricing for goods and services being purchased by internal customers as well as coordinate with Sourcing when required.
3. Provide training for company employees on how to generate purchasing requests in SRM/SAP as well as the entire PTP process.
4. Provide support for the business unit requestors with issues related to receiving, invoice processing, and PO adjustments.
5. Implement new policies and procedures to help streamline the purchasing process for SAP users within the company.
6. Collaborate with the AP group to ensure resolution of invoices and purchase order discrepancies.
7. Develop a close working partnership with the Finance and Operational teams. Proactively learn the business and upstream processes to ensure proper Accounting.
Requirements
What you need to have:
* BS/BA in Accounting or Finance or comparable degree
* Experience with large ERP system (SAP preferred), strong in Excel and PC skills
* Applies fundamental functional/technical and business knowledge typically gained through formal education to deliver assigned work
* Results oriented, strong attention to accuracy and detail
* Seeks guidance on new or unfamiliar tasks
* Keeps others informed of workload, timeline, and resources needed to accomplish tasks
* Ability to work under conditions of pressure and adjust to urgent situations
* Ability to work independently as well as working collaboratively with team members across the organization and prioritize multiple deliverables with competing deadlines
* Strong organizational skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to foster positive working relationships across the organization
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
It's a plus if you have:
* Proficiency of SAP
* Previous experience in public accounting and/or the entertainment industry preferred
* Spanish language skills
