Responsibilities
Your New Role...
CNN Underscored is the flagship product for CNN Commerce and the fastest growing business for CNN Digital both in revenue and margin with over 15M page views per month. It is an entrepreneurial group of talented cross-functional individuals driven to work across the business and content teams to drive value within service journalism. The CNN Commerce group is seeking a high-performing student eager to apply their existing studies in strategy, execution, and communications to serve as the MBA Intern/Analyst for Commerce Operations and Strategy. This internship will play a role in business initiatives, working with leadership and management to coordinate the delivery of strategic and operational programs and projects. This role will help with the overall operations for the commerce business at CNN, primarily focused on our product reviews and recommendations site. This is a dynamic role offering a variety of challenges to solve.
Qualifications
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Support business strategy activities including strategic initiatives, cross-functional strategic processes, roadmap planning or monitoring)
• Track program results and assist in the development of project materials including presentations and spreadsheets.
• Support internal communications efforts including the planning and execution of commerce-wide and leadership meetings.
• Support business intelligence meetings through synthesis, tracking, and recommendations
• Support corporate functions coordination such as HR, Finance, and Legal
• Manage informational assets and own our knowledge management efforts
• Be a culture champion by supporting our employee engagement programs and amplifying our core values.
Qualifications and Experience…
• Must be currently enrolled as a student (proof of enrollment will be required if selected for an internship)
• Must be a first year MBA candidate
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States
• Proficient with Adobe Analytics & Monday.com
• Solid knowledge of PC/Mac, Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Highly organized and self-directed; able to keep on an assigned track with minimal direction
• Strong presentation development skills (design and verbal)
• Solid knowledge of social media with clear understanding of marketing principles
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic research methods and strategies preferred.
About the Internship Program...
• Our Summer 2023 program is a 11-12 Week Internship that will run from Monday, June 5th through Friday, August 25th, 2023
• Full time-schedule (35-40 hours/week) required
• Company-issued computer or secured remote access provided for the duration of the internship program
• Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive salary. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation for roles that will be performed in New York City. The rate listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Rate: $45 per hour USD.
