Responsibilities

Your New Role...

You will be joining the team responsible for developing and implementing content strategy across WBD’s global streaming portfolio, evaluating content performance and trends, and providing insights and recommendations to leadership to influence decision making. This role requires a high level of collaboration with partners across WBD – the right person for this role is the kind of person who obsesses over details, thrives in ambiguity, and jumps at the opportunity to take on new challenges. The Associate position will play a key role in supporting relationships across teams and delivering high quality work in one of the highest priority business initiatives at Warner Bros Discovery.

Your Role Accountabilities…

This content-obsessed intern will be part of our Content Strategy & Analysis team, supporting our Content and Merchandising teams as we seek to better inject data into our decision-making. Potential responsibilities could include:

Analyzing our overall DTC content portfolio, helping us make strategic decisions around:
• How much we invest in content
• How we allocate that across different content genres and markets
• What content we greenlight or renew to meet those goals

Developing frameworks, benchmarks, and analyses for answering those questions

Investigating new initiatives to help augment our streaming content portfolio

Assessing title-level performance from a Content and / or Merchandising angle

Helping develop presentations for our executives to address all of the above

Qualifications and Experience…
• Must be currently enrolled as a student (proof of enrollment will be required if selected for an internship)
• Must be a first year MBA candidate
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States
• Solid knowledge of PC/Mac, Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Highly organized and self-directed; able to keep on an assigned track with minimal direction
• Strong presentation development skills (design and verbal)
• Solid knowledge of social media with clear understanding of marketing principles
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic research methods and strategies preferred.

About the Internship Program...
• Our Summer 2023 program is a 11-12 Week Internship that will run from Monday, June 5th through Friday, August 25th, 2023
• Full time-schedule (35-40 hours/week) required
• Company-issued computer or secured remote access provided for the duration of the internship program
• Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive salary. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation for roles that will be performed in New York City. The rate listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Rate: $50 per hour USD.
