The Global Content Accounting Manager will be responsible for oversight of various global processes, global reporting, modeling and controls.
Responsibilities
1. Prepare allocation analyses, journal entries, account reconciliations and annual accounting memos for international content sharing models.
2. Liaise with Transfer Pricing department as necessary on policies and procedures for international content sharing.
3. Administer/coordinate control activities across the globe. Ensure adherence and timely completion of established controls and policies.
4. Liaise with internal and external auditors and provide requested documentation for audit requests across the globe.
5. Prepare monthly and quarterly global consolidation schedules and ensure adherence with established deadlines.
6. Perform month/quarter-end global accuracy and reasonableness reviews to ensure accuracy of financial information.
7. Perform annual system access review and review of DOA authorization levels.
8. Prepare various global internal management reports.
9. Evaluate amortization models for efficiencies and assist in preparation of annual global models.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited institution and 8 years of experience in related field.
* CPA license required.
* A minimum of 1 year of experience and general understanding of corporate-level international accounting, including foreign currency transactions and considerations.
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
It’s a plus if you have:
* Experience with SAP/Project Systems
* Ability to deliver on expected deadlines
* Knowledge of GAAP and SOX
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Must be able to work collaboratively with team members
* Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional groups
* Proficient working with Microsoft Office
* Experience with PeopleSoft and/or Hyperion preferred
