HR Functional Design Analyst - Benefits (Contract)
Discovery has undertaken a major initiative to transform HR through the end to end design and implementation of a future state HR solution including the development of new shared global services, implementing SAP SuccessFactors and ServiceNow, that delivers a digitally enabled HR function and workplace.
This initiative, called Project Condor, will allow for dynamic decision making, global streamlined and automated processes, a digitally-native global mindset, all while providing the right structure and tools to manage people and business growth.
The Functional Design Analyst is responsible for supporting programs with the design and delivery of the HR solution, process and policy efforts related to the Benefits (USA) scope of processes supported by the SAP SuccessFactors.
This is a contract role and will likely run until March 2020. The role will be based in Knoxville, Tennessee but may require some level of travel during the project (approx. 25%)
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for supporting detailed end-to-end solution design and processes for the Benefits (USA) workstream supported by SAP SuccessFactors, Benefits Focus system and ServiceNow
2. Responsible for creation of detailed process documentation – including user guides, work instructions and standardised global processes process maps; detailing process activities, owners and hand-offs
3. Interact with key stakeholders (CoE, HR Managers, HR Operations) to review deliverables/outputs and seek input to help capture processes correctly and support in obtaining decisions required
4. Capture decisions taken and prepare minutes, decisions, actions from key meetings, workshops or sessions
5. Review existing global HR policies and review with CoE/Policy owner for updating appropriately
6. Manage content inventory for work-stream, listing and creating documentation and knowledge articles required to support roll-out and adoption of the new HR solution for absence and time work-stream; reviewing content with appropriate stakeholders
7. Support documenting of HR Global Services team responsibilities into Service Catalogue
8. Working alongside Functional Design Lead, determine/document local legal, regulatory or works council requirements with regional HR stakeholders
9. Support the Change Management work-stream, to input and review training content
10. Execute user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios and scripts, participate in Business Readiness testing and deployment/cutover activities
11. Support with the handover to the HR Global Services team (based in Warsaw and Knoxville) as part of knowledge transfer and upskilling for new resources
12. Participate in Business Readiness Testing and deployment/cutover activities to ensure HR Global Service readiness
Requirements
* Understanding of global HR disciplines with working knowledge of Benefits design (plans, eligibility and enrolment processes)
* Strong attention to detail
* Experience in process design or the creation of procedural documentation
* Experience in working on a complex change or transformation project would be desirable but not essential
* Experience of building, maintaining and managing strong relationships and stakeholder groups
* Highly motivated and self-starter, with high level of energy and pro-active approach to work
* Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and effectively to target audiences
* Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines on multiple projects or tasks concurrently
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
