Description
The Exec. Director Executive Reporting, Board & IR Support is the interface between operational finance teams, Group FP&A and Senior Executives. Translating the financial performance of the company into concise, meaningful reporting that allows executives to get a proper overview of the status quo and to take action if necessary.
The Group CFO will partner with this position to draft presentations to important Committees and take the reporting of the company’s performance to the next level.
Furthermore, the role will be an active contributor in shaping our investor communication by supporting IR with all financial information needed to craft a compelling equity story.
Responsibilities
• Own and continuously improve Executive Financial Management Reporting, geared toward the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Directors
• Ensure the CFOs deliverables toward Committees and Company leadership are met in a timely manner and with a consistent standard
• Manage Senior level messaging for Consolidated Financial Reporting and Performance Metrics
• Ensure sure all reporting is cohesive and follows standardized definitions
• Develop Scorecards, select and track relevant Key Performance Indicators
• Create ad-hoc reporting for Senior Executives, including Board presentations
• Partner with Investor Relations to provide all information necessary to prepare and execute Investor Communication, Earnings Releases, and Investor Days
Qualifications
• The ideal candidate will have 10 years of progressive finance experience, preferably with a focus on the media and entertainment industry.
• Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively and proactively in a fast-paced, deadline-orientated environment.
• Basic understanding of Capital Markets & requirements of an investor-focused communication
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Ability to prepare complex information in a concise and executive-ready fashion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that will enable interaction with a diverse set of constituents across various functions and levels of the organization
• Exceptional leadership and project management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or similar areas of study, MBA or CPA preferred
