Responsibilities
Summary of Duties:
Develop and manage revenue budgets, commercial inventory management, monthly and weekly revenue forecasting, reporting, pricing strategies, and all department policies and procedures that will enable Ad Sales teams in Latin America and USH to achieve or surpass revenue objectives. Support Ad Sales Vice Presidents and teams across Latin America and United States for Hispanic Networks. Build valuable relationships and establish P&R team as a true business partner to develop inventory and pricing strategies. Develop and implement revenue models based on future industry trends and regulatory controls to determine revenue impact. Manage and track available inventory, leverage unused inventory, project future consumption trends, and provide solutions for oversold situations. Inform sales management regarding current pricing, sellouts, and revenue potential. Assimilate numerous marketplace indicators and statistical analyses and apply them to make decisions on ad sales proposals. Implement new technologies to optimize the return of our products. Develop revenue reports based on the business needs of each sales group to ensure teams have the necessary information to track and project revenue accurately. Provide analytical reports that enable Sales to better maximize revenue potential. Provide competitive business updates including: current advisers on competitive networks, rates, and sponsorships.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, or related field and seven (7) years’ experience in the offered role or as an Financial Analyst, Ad Sales, Strategic Planning, or related role. Five (5) years' experience in: leading pricing and inventory management for broadcast or major cable network in Latin America; knowledge about the economic and political dynamics of Latin American markets; leading and supervising people distributed in different regions; financial planning; business intelligence software such as Microstrategy or Oracle Hyperion; and research tools in Latin America such as Ibope, Monitor, Comscore. Three (3) years' experience in: Yield Revenue Management. Six (6) months' experience in: US Hispanics networks. Experience must include: Spanish fluency (written, verbal, and public speaking).
