We are excited to be recruiting for a Data and Insights Analyst, focusing on how best to grow the business through our website and app platforms. As the Data and Insights Analyst, you will work within the “Data Analytics and Decisioning” team which helps all the departments of Eurosport the right decisions and implement relevant strategies. Using various audience measurement systems, the “Data Analytics and Decisioning” team provides specific analysis on sports performances on an array of devices (TV, internet, mobile, social media).
Responsibilities
• Produce regular audience dashboards and key sport reviews on websites & app platforms
• Collect and analyse audience data from different devices (site centric & user centric)
• Collect, organise and synthesise the different types of data in order to better appreciate our audience’s
• expectations and usage behaviour (broken down by market, sport, device)
• Produce digital audience forecasts
• Track competitor performance
• Support the Technology and Product teams for the digital analytics software settings (page tagging, KPIs definition)
• Advise stakeholders in departments across the wider organization (General Management, Digital Editorial and Product teams, Sales teams, Communication)
• Internal and external communication via regular reports
• Permanent tracking of the latest digital news and trends in order to feed the department with relevant material
Requirements
• At least 3 years’ experience within a similar position, ideally in a media company or pure digital organisation
• Proven experience in analysing and interpreting data from multiple sources and communicating valuable and actionable insights to senior stakeholders
• Expertise in Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
• Rigorous and dynamic individual with good communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Fluent in English (French and another language would be an asset)
• Experience of working closely with an Editorial team is highly advantageous
