The Creative Director of Video will lead and direct the Brand Creative video team to conceive, define and develop on-air and off-air promotions and supporting social/digital promotional content. Responsible for managing the workload of direct reports and providing a creative vision, overseeing the creation of fresh, engaging, and entertaining content that pushes creative boundaries, delivers on strategic goals, and drives ratings and brand awareness.
Responsibilities
• Manage a small team of producers and editors in all phases of promo creation; direct the conceptualization, writing and production of on-air/off-air promotions including clip-based launch spots, concept spots, episodics, generics, stunts/marathons, sizzles and brand image spots
• Direct the conceptualization, writing and production of sharable digital/social content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.
• Ensure promotions are delivered on-time and on-budget while maintaining highest standards of quality, consistency and accuracy.
• Manage, grow and mentor direct reports; foster a work environment that is conducive to creative development.
• Be a brand champion, maintaining the brand “look and feel” across all projects and platforms.
• Direct and oversee multiple third-party vendors.
• Partner with Design team to develop innovative creative solutions to elevate content; provide direction to ensure visual approach and editorial is unified.
• Manage freelance producers/editors as needed.
