Full Time Job
The Corporate Content Accounting Analyst will be responsible for performing analyses for corporate content accounting, and help develop process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and excel dashboards, many of which involve management estimates and judgment. The Corporate Content Accounting Analyst reports directly to the Manager, Corporate Content Accounting.
Responsibilities
1. Work with the Manager to develop process improvements to address complex areas of Content Accounting with a focus on transformation/enhancements of analyses and processes
2. Assist with preparation of materials for, and participate in meetings with, leadership in accounting, FP&A, network/programming departments, and internal/external auditors
3. Support and collaborate with the Manager to provide subject matter expertise to internal business partners in all content life cycle areas: GAAP/Accounting guidance, global policies and procedures, and SOX controls
4. Assist in the implementation of updates and/or improvements, as needed, to processes and/or the control environment that are specific to content accounting
5. Assist internal and external auditors with routine requests
6. Making decisions guided by established policies and procedures
7. Performing other duties and responsibilities as needed
Requirements
* BS/BA in related discipline from an accredited university
* Minimum of 1 year of experience, internships inclusive
* CPA or path to CPA required
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
It’s a plus if you have:
* Experience with an SEC registrant
* Experience with SAP and Blackline strongly preferred
* Experience working directly with internal or external auditors
* Experience in working with complex spreadsheets and/or experience in robotics/automation
* Attention to detail, accuracy and strong organizational skills
* Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
* Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional team members at all levels
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Embraces change driven by evolving business initiatives and maintains positivity when time-sensitive milestones shift
