Full Time Job
Provide administrative and process support in the daily execution of TV Commercial Operations functions and assist in coverage of required responsibilities within department. Responsibilities may include but not be limited to duties listed below.
Responsibilities
1. Monitor daily audit reports, making necessary adjustments and notifying bundle directors of any issues that require Sales intervention
2. Input all PSA orders into traffic system
3. Provide monthly air checks for commercial and programming as requested by auditors
4. Assist with daily recon of broadcast logs
5. Maintain Excel spreadsheet of all approved credit requires for all networks
6. Assist network managers with daily RSG log manipulation, copy worksheet verification, commercial viewing
7. Administrative tasks for department including management of PTO calendars; meeting schedules and conference room reservations; distribution of department updates and information; manage TVCO Workplace site; creation and distribution of TVCO accelerated log schedules; manage distribution and contact lists; assist with onboarding of new hires
8. Create and distribute department training materials and workflow procedures; work with VP to seek out and coordinate leadership and development training opportunities for each level; coordinate professional book club meetings for department; maintain WICT memberships for department; schedule learning sessions with various speakers and work teams
9. Provide event planning for quarterly meetings and all other department functions and team building initiatives; work with VP and management team to prioritize and maintain team engagement for department of 75
Requirements
* Minimum 2-year experience in an administrative role preferably within a broadcasting/cable environment
* High initiative level with willingness to continue cross-training and ability to manage high volume and meet all established deadlines; demonstrated flexibility and focus in high stress environment with emphasis on being a team player
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
* Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a deadline driven environment
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to work within time constraints and exhibit flexibility in work hours based on business needs and seasonal demands
* Must exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to compile, code, categorize, audit or verify information or data
* Ability to enter, store or maintain information in written or electronic form
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
