Full Time Job
The Program Integration team is seeking an Associate Producer to assist with the production of long and short form content for multiple internal groups and advertisers. A strong television production background is required. Basic non-linear editing abilities are a plus. Other responsibilities will include keeping all information up to date in the department’s internal tracking system.
Responsibilities
1. Compose long form and show form integration proposals and topline concepts.
2. Manage graphic-only integrations.
3. Keep internal department work flow and tracking documents up to date.
4. Serve as the department contact for all trade out approvals.
5. Log and archive all long and short form content the department produces.
6. Edit video clips of integrated content the department produces and upload on the department’s Appian site.
7. Work closely with the Food Network, HGTV, & DIY Integration producers to keep the department Appian site fully updated.
8. Work closely with the network scheduling teams to track delivery, air dates and times of upcoming integrated content.
9. Gather and edit content for on-air short form content and internal presentations.
10. Serve as department contact for media center requests.
Requirements
* Knowledge of Final Cut Pro or similar non-linear editing software.
* Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Knowledge of the cable television industry.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Ability to communicate with production companies in a professional, television term related manner.
* Knowledge of HGTV, Food Network, DIY Network and Cooking Channel programming is beneficial.
* Education: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Advertising or related field.
* Experience: 1-3 years of television production experience.
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
