QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience managing social media platforms for a brand or organization.
Strong understanding of electronic dance music culture and the electronic music industry.
Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinking and a keen eye for design and content.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for events and campaigns.
Please note, that this role is dynamic and may require occasional travel to events and festivals.
Please be aware that this position is subject to a 90-day probationary period to evaluate mutual fit and performance.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you passionate about electronic dance music and social media? Do you have a knack for creating engaging content and building a strong online presence? Disco Donnie Presents is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our social media channels, developing and executing social media strategies, and engaging with our vibrant online community.
Team-Based Roles
Collaborate effectively within a team environment, participating in weekly calls with the DDP team and management.
Maintain consistent communication with the DDP team through phone and email interactions.
Assume responsibility for overseeing and optimizing social media efforts across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Event Pages for festivals.
Stay at the forefront of the ever-evolving social media landscape by keeping up with the latest industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Utilize specialized social media tools and programs as necessary to enhance our social media presence and engagement.
Social Roles
Actively engage with internal teams to ensure the seamless promotion of events.
Partner closely with the DDP team to uphold the highest standards in organic marketing efforts.
Foster collaboration and coordination with partner and artist teams to bolster marketing campaigns.
Manage content uploads and scheduling for mobile applications, ensuring continuous updates and content maintenance during events.
Provide valuable support for email marketing, SMS marketing, and content approval and distribution as required.
Social Media Monitoring
Develop and execute a comprehensive social strategy to effectively promote the portfolio of festivals and branded events.
Contribute to the creation of creative marketing concepts, post ideas, contest strategies, and the identification and approval of images/videos as needed.
Compose copy for ''organic posts'' and ensure consistent brand voice across social, email, and blog content.
Monitor brand sharing and community interactions to maintain brand health and engagement.
Utilize social media marketing tools to schedule organic posts when necessary.
Create and manage event pages, contests, and related elements for events as they arise.
Provide on-site social media event coverage and guest service assistance as required.
Collaborative Online Marketing Roles
Assume responsibility for monitoring social inboxes across all brands (Ubbi Dubbi, Freaky Deaky, Lights All Night, etc.).
Implement social listening strategies across channels (organic) to track our channels, competitors, and industry trends.
Analyze social listening results, review performance metrics, and develop testing strategies for continuous improvement of the overall organic social media strategy.
