Fall Intern - Social Media

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

DirectSubmit /NYCastings is currently seeking an intern in our LA and NYC offices. This internship will be remote. We are seeking people who have knowledge and interest in the acting business and acting experience. Preferably located in NY or LA.

This would be ideal for anyone interested in future work as a:
• Casting Director for Film, TV, Commercials & Theatre
• Talent Agent / Booker
• Film Director, Producer, or Writer.

The expectation of times/days:
• Can start October 2025.
• Anyone interested should know we are looking for people to start ASAP and should commit to a minimum of a 4-month long unpaid internship, and a few days a week.
• The more days a person could commit the better and 3 days would be the min.
• Credit can be given if needed for school.
• 10-6 pm are our hours.

Core Responsibilities:
• Manage and grow DirectSubmit's social media presence (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Create engaging posts about castings, talent success stories, industry tips, and platform updates
• Monitor trends, hashtags, and competitor content to keep our channels current and engaging
• Assist with digital marketing campaigns for both casting directors and talent
• Track engagement metrics and suggest new ideas for outreach and visibility

A person coming in would typically start by helping us with the promoting Casting Projects that we deal with. So you would learn how to write a Casting Breakdown then you would simply enter that job into our website.

Additional Opportunities:
• Depending on interest, interns may also:
• Assist with casting projects and learn how to write/post casting breakdowns
• Research new clients (casting directors, producers, agents) and support outreach efforts
• Candidates should be tech-savvy, an efficient typist, and detail-oriented with a great phone personality.
