The Directors Guild of America is hiring a New Media Claims Representative (NMCR) in its Residuals Enforcement Department. The NMCR enforces the new media use and reuse provisions of DGA collective bargaining agreements. The NMCR monitors, researches, and analyzes the use and reuse of motion pictures and television programs in new media markets to ensure the timely and proper payment of residuals, and files and pursues claims for payment when necessary. The NMCR also monitors entertainment industry trends and developments and analyzes their residuals implications.
Basic Qualifications:
• Familiarity with new media platforms (e.g., Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Pro-active self-starter who is also a good team player
• Very organized, precise, and detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in accounting, finance, auditing, or similar field is a bonus
• Experience with entertainment guild collective bargaining agreements is a bonus
