Dim Mak En Fuego (DMEF) is the new home for the global Latin underground. Founded in 2020, the imprint spotlights the genre-defying sounds burning up dance floors worldwide and fosters the boundless voices who are originating hybrid sounds in their own vision. As a breeding ground for the innovative artists pushing the scene forward, the label fuses music, visuals, fashion, and internet culture to discover and develop the singular art and artists defining the sounds of tomorrow.
Dim Mak En Fuego is seeking a marketing/social media intern. College credit is required. This position is unpaid. Applicants should be available to work remotely, 2-3 days a week.
Candidates should have knowledge of the Dim Mak En Fuego brand, as well as of the Latin music community as a whole. Knowledge of Latin music and artists is important, as well as having a finger on the pulse of major events and festivals, releases outside of Dim Mak En Fuego, and news pertaining to the Latin community
Responsibilities:
-Directly support the marketing manager
-Assist with weekly campaign reports and marketing drivers
-Assist in creation and upkeep of release timelines
-Write copy for social media posts, short blurbs, and descriptions
-Research new digital marketing opportunities and trends
-Assist with maintenance and optimization of properties such as SoundCloud and YouTube
-Brainstorming marketing creative content for ongoing/upcoming releases and tours
-Maintaining social media doc - tracking links, etc.
-Updating social media calendar/schedule
-Sourcing assets for social posts
Requirements/Qualifications:
-Experience working with multiple social media properties (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, and SoundCloud)
-Local to LA
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Must be capable of working within a team environment
-Strong organizational skills
-Computer proficiency in Google Docs, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
-Previous internship experience a plus
-Basic graphic design knowledge a plus
-Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
