Digital Cinema United (DCU) is a global provider of technical content services for Theatrical, Video-On-Demand (VOD) and Home Entertainment, with operations in Los Angeles, London, Prague and Johannesburg. DCU supports the distribution of content for Hollywood film studios, independent film distributors, event cinema distributors, renowned producers and content owners worldwide through DCP Production and DCP Delivery services of feature films and movie trailers to all cinemas in North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Australia, New Zealand and the Caribbean. DCU also provides International Servicing with Localization worldwide and direct delivery to VOD streaming platforms. DCU operates TPN (Trusted Partner Network) certified facilities across all its regions.
Digital Cinema United is seeking a full-time Fulfillment Technician to support the delivery of feature films, movie trailers, and other content for theatrical exhibition at movie theaters in the US and Canada.
Job Responsibilities:
• Monitor, track, and record daily inventory of hard drives, ensuring all outgoing and incoming hard drives are accurately accounted for
• Update and monitor daily work order schedule to ensure all sales orders are in the queue for fulfillment
• Perform duplication of content on hard drives, USB sticks, DVDs/Blu-rays
• Packaging of hard drives, USB sticks and DVDs/Blu-rays for physical delivery
• Complete all outgoing deliveries, ensuring all outgoing deliveries to movie theaters and other customers are on time
• Coordinate with sales team to confirm orders are completed and on schedule for target delivery dates
• Identify and troubleshoot delivery issues with internal team and courier service partner
• Support client requests, both internal and external
• Create ad-hoc reports
Requirements
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Familiar with using Aspera, Dropbox and similar file transfer software
• Understanding of UPS/FedEx delivery services
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to exercise discretion and keep strictest levels of confidentiality
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift boxes up to 15 pounds
