Summary/objective??
Based in West Hollywood, DBA is seeking a seeking a highly intelligent, self-motivated public relations professional to support and our corporate communications efforts which includes internal and external communications, media relations, and social media. The ideal candidate will be an approachable team-player who is confident working in an extremely fast-paced environment. Along with taking part in special projects and participating in cross departmental efforts, this position will be highly involved in executing and developing strategies that will maximize quality of communication and service for which DBA is known.
What You'll Do
•Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals
•Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts
•Research media coverage and industry trends
•Prepping press materials, like news releases, press kits, and publicity programs, as well as online newsroom management
•Researching publication reports and pulling briefing documents for media interviews
•Creating/maintaining media distribution lists and monitoring/tracking; establishing and maintaining new press contacts
•Creating/preparing presentation materials for senior leadership
•Helping with the planning and execution of on-site and off-site events
•Handle high volume of daily transactions with various departments
What You Need
•5+ years' experience in similar role (particularly in a creative industry)
•Strong Project Management skills
•Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally
•Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint)
•General business knowledge and interest in media and entertainment business
