Dick Clark Productions is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Head of Brand Relations to oversee and streamline processes related to the Golden Globes and other live events, with a focus on managing the eligibility committee, rules and campaign guidelines, event operations, ticketing/seating logistics, and post-event analysis. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and leadership skills, a proven ability to collaborate across departments, and adeptness in ensuring accurate execution of deliverables while fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, studios, and vendors.
Primary Responsibilities:
DCP & GG Brand Liaison
• Serve as the primary liaison between senior leadership, stakeholders, production teams, and external partners
• Advocate for department-wide process improvements and optimization strategies
• Provide year-round availability to answer stakeholder questions regarding eligibility, ticketing, and event logistics
• Foster strong relationships with studios, encouraging proactive participation and streamlined collaboration
• Foster studio and talent participation year around and strengthen collaboration with studios by creating new opportunities for events and programs
Eligibility Committee & Rules Management
• Oversee and manage the Eligibility Committee including facilitating year-round engagement with the studios to encourage early uploads to the submission platform
• Streamline the process for the committee to review and approve submissions yearlong via Indee platform to ensure operational consistency and workflow optimization
• Lead the post-mortem process after each award cycle, drawing insights to update eligibility rules
• Partner with the Eligibility Committee to rewrite rules annually based on learnings from the previous year
• Work with legal teams to ensure compliance and clarity of rules
• Post finalized rules and guidelines to the website and distribute media releases
• Communicate rules and guidelines effectively to relevant stakeholders, including studios and talent representatives
Submission Review
• Monitor and test prominent submission platforms, including Yangaroo, for usability and accuracy
• Verify accuracy, eligibility, and completeness of all submissions to ensure they meet established criteria
• Serve as the primary point of contact for year-round eligibility inquiries from studios, talent managers, and agents
Event Operations
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive timeline and collaborate with department heads, production teams, and external vendors for seamless execution
• Oversee red carpet access, specialized arrival/departure arrangements, and walk-throughs
• Create and distribute “Know Before You Go†guide for attendees and internal teams
• Coordinate ancillary events and consult with production and PR teams
• Oversee presenter logistics, seating arrangements, and next-day talent management post-event
• Ensure attendees and all parties receive clear communication regarding expectations and logistical guidance such as "Know Before You Goâ€
Ticketing & Seating Management
• Develop a comprehensive ticketing/seating timeline and communications strategy
• Manage ticket allocation across stakeholders, ensuring accurate distribution for agents, managers, nominees, studios, and VIPs
• Engage and oversee the ticketing/seating committee to ensure timely results
• Assist the events team in hiring Vivenu or other ticketing/seating platforms, testing functionality, and recommend necessary improvements
• Collaborate with senior leadership, showrunners, production, security teams, and other stakeholders to ensure all ticketing/seating requirements are met
• Coordinate with legal teams on studios requesting invoice-based payments, ensuring payments are promptly received
• Post-event, update ticketing and seating revenue metrics in the revenue tracker
Basic Qualifications
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to analyze post-event data and implement operational improvements
• Knowledge of rules, guidelines, and legal compliance within an awards show context
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders at various levels
• Adeptness in handling competing priorities and meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of award show rules, guidelines, and processes is a significant asset
• Familiarity with current film and television content, industry players, and trends in the entertainment landscape
Work Environment
• This role may require occasional evening and weekend work during the awards season to ensure timely completion of tasks

Typical wage: $115k-$125k. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role.
