dick clark productions, a diverse entertainment company and producer of a wide range of television programming, including awards shows, specials, and reality series, is seeking a highly qualified Coordinator, International Distribution. This position will be based in Santa Monica.
Description
As a member of the International Distribution department, the Coordinator is an integral part of the team tasked with sales servicing and overseeing the delivery of broadcast materials to international clients for dick clark productions. The Coordinator is primarily responsible for providing licensees of our programming with all the information regarding the physical delivery of the shows. This includes specific material delivery facts regarding satellite info for live shows as well as working with the licensees, our production team and our post houses to make sure the correct materials can be delivered on a timely and cost efficient basis. It also requires administrative support to the EVP of International, the SVP and VP of Sales leading up to, during and after events. This position works closely with television markets such as MIP TV, MIPCOM, NATPE, REALSCREEN, BANFF and any other conferences or sales related travels.
Role and Responsibilities
• Sales servicing
• Oversee delivery of broadcast materials to clients (satellite feeds or tape)
• Oversee delivery of non-broadcast materials to clients (i.e. promos, images, logos, production documents)
• Coordination with satellite companies (for live broadcast feeds)
• Coordination with post houses (for videotape delivery)
• Review and approve all delivery-related invoices
• Request price quotes from satellite companies and post houses
• Set up, manage international websites for both American Music Awards and Golden Globes
Duties
• Contract administration
• Interface with sales people
• Draft preparation
• Interface with legal (when necessary)
• Contract tracking
• Market / trade show preparations Arrange / secure for exhibit space
• Creating & managing calendars / scheduling of appointments for sales executives
• Arranging production of marketing material
• Arranging production of audio-visual materials
• Liaise with trade publications regarding advertisements
• Coordination of travel for sales executive
Experience and Education
• 1-3 years' experience with a production company or distribution company that has delivered live programming or other television series which have a physical delivery requirement is preferred. International experience desired, but not required.
• BA/BS degree
Requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent computer skills Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to assist wherever needed
• Motivated and passionate team-player
• Must possess exceptional internal skills
• Ability work well in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to successfully meet deadlines
• Able to work outside normal business hours when necessary (live events, satellite feeds etc.)
Miscellaneous
• 2nd Language a major plus (Spanish preferred)
