Job Description
Diana Fashion Inc. is launching a new women's brand and is looking for a motivated Social Media/PR Intern to;
Create, launch and publish throughout our various social channels such as TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
Build relationships with the media and suppliers of marketing material, while constantly looking for ways to boost the company's image
This role works directly with the creative director and marketing manager.
Responsibilities:
Work alongside the team to create a plan for social media strategies
Supporting the Creative Director in implementing the company's PR strategy
Assist in the growth of the brand by raising awareness through various social media platforms
Monitor postings to ensure brand message is constant from the terminology used to images posted
Aid in the daily aspects of promoting the businesses campaigns
Interact with followers and potential customers by communicating and answering questions through the company's social pages
Assist in implementing plans to increase followers on popular social media websites such as TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc
Influencer research and outreach
Stay on top of emerging trends in social media, culture and Apps to appropriately apply that knowledge for content creation
Brainstorm, create content and draft copy for daily posts across all client social media platforms
Giving input on marketing initiatives and suggesting creative ways to improve the company's public image
Updating media lists
Skills Needed:
Hands on experience in content management
Excellent copywriting skills
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
Knowledge of online marketing channels
Familiarity with web design
Excellent communication skills
Analytical and multitasking skills
Be able to effectively multi task, be creative in presenting proactive ideas with respect to projects in which they are involved
Have a thirst to learn and a strong interest in pursuing a career in the fashion world
Ideal candidate:
College student or a recent graduate
Knowledge of current and emerging fashion brands and lifestyle trends
Knowledge of social media channels and platforms, including (but not limited to) Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, YouTube, Snapchat, and Google+
Ability to conceptualize brand appropriate social media campaigns while bringing new, engaging and exciting ideas on how to market our channels / brand.
Excellent grasp of the influencer space
Entrepreneurial spirit with proven ability to self-manage
Can-do positive attitude and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach; personable and flexible with demands and changes in business
Strong writing and communication skills
Video creating/editing skills
Will have the opportunity to:
Participate in all activities associated with showroom operations
Gain an insider's perspective as to how the fashion business world functions.
Shadow an industry leader
Be the first to see and check in samples for the new season
Organize/Merchandise the new collection samples in the showroom
Assist with appointments in the showroom and on location with retail clients
Participate in meetings with designers to discuss their collections and help to merchandise them
Work on developing and executing multi-tiered social media strategy for our showroom. Work includes focus on creating interesting content for Instagram, FB, Tiktok.
Will work with our vendors to source content, as well as with designers and buyers to conceptualize interviews to give an insider perspective on our business and the people involved.
Start/end date estimate: beginning of August- end of October
Weekly commitment of 10 hours a week
