We are an Independent Record Label located in the heart of Sherman Oaks, CA looking for interns who possess the drive to exceed in this ever changing Music industry. We have unlimited resources and connections, have recently expanded our corporate office and initiatives. After a 90-day introductory period, if qualified, we are looking to hire potential full-time employees to become a part of our company.

We are looking for (1) Graphic Design Intern for the first quarter of this year.**
We offer remote interview options due to the Covid-19 /Stay-at-home order. However, the position requires you to report to your supervisor in-person at our corporate office. We are in compliance with all regulations and social distancing requirements in our facility and ask that you refrain from interviewing in-person if you are experiencing any symptoms.
Graphic Designer Job Responsibilities:
-Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
-Plans concept by studying information and materials.
-Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
-Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
-Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors.
-Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
-Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment.
-Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
-Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional -societies.
-Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Graphic Designer Qualifications/Skills:
-Layout skills
-Analytical skills
-Creativity
-Flexibility
-Attention to detail
-Deadline-oriented
-Desktop publishing tools and graphic design software
-Acute vision
-Time-management skills
-Communication skills
-Handles rejection
-2 or more years of Graphic Design experience.
-Highly organized, creative and detail-oriented.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Must be able to deliver quick turnarounds if necessary.
-Ability to work with limited supervision.
-Strong understanding of youth culture in sports and recreation.
-Strong planning and project management competencies.
-Creative mind, with prior successes in driving the creative process.
-Must have a sense of humor and learn to have fun!
Education and/or Experience:
-High School Diploma is required. Bachelor's Degree - recent graduate or currently
pursuing one. 1-2 years of Graphic Design experience required. Wakeboarding and
watersports experience is a plus! HTML Coding experience is a plus!
-Note-
Our internships are unpaid and for credit only.
Entertainment Interns: 90 day introductory period can be transitioned into a part-time or full-time employee.
Student Interns: Must provide proof of enrollment at an accredited U.S. based school, college or university, and documentation that you will receive credit for the internship. The full-time internship generally requires 20 hours a week for about 18 weeks.
