Summer Intern - Film and Television Development

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Di Novi Pictures is a film and television production company with a first-look film deal at Warner Bros. Pictures. We are headed by Denise Di Novi who has produced the films EDWARD SCISSORHANDS, ED WOOD, NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH, BATMAN RETURNS, SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS, CATWOMAN, LITTLE WOMEN, A WALK TO REMEMBER, and RAMONA AND BEEZUS, CRAZY STUPID LOVE, MONTE CARLO, THE LUCKY ONE, IF I STAY, and FOCUS amongst others. We are currently in post-production on the thriller UNFORGETTABLE for Warner Bros and have a busy development slate.

Internships will focus on: reading scripts, writing coverage, doing project-based research, as well as everyday office tasks like copying, answering the phone, and running errands. Interns will have an opportunity to read current project drafts being developed and give their input on both project drafts and submitted scripts/books. Once a week interns will meet with the Creative Executive to discuss the material they've read that week and discuss various industry topics and trends.

Students must receive school credit for the duration of their internship.
