As the Motor City Cruise Mascot Performer, you will be considered a world-class performer and ambassador for the Motor City Cruise at all home games, team events and outside appearances as the official mascot ''TURBO.'' The ideal candidate possess excellent non-verbal interpersonal skills, is athletically and physically fit, and has a creative and humorous personality that translates through TURBO.

We are seeking a team member with a positive, upbeat attitude that can connect with a diverse population, and we are excited to meet you!

What you'll be doing
• Assist with game day elements including but not limited to: engaging with fans of all ages, crowd interaction, , on-court contests, T-Shirt tosses etc.
• Implement skits to be performed at a Cruise home games.
• Maintain all assets including costumes, props, and other items used by Turbo.
• Understand and perform a series of non-verbal communications signals to be used with the mascot assistant in public.

What we're looking for
• Mascot experience, collegiate, minor league. or professional preferred.
• Dance experience and other performance-related skills (tumbling, belaying, dancing, stilt-walking, etc.), preferred.
• Ability to excite, motivate, and entertain a crowd – an outstanding sense of humor is a must.
• Family appropriate and comfortable performing in front of crowds
• Strong collaboration & team synergy skills required.
• Ability to maintain skills and physical fitness through regular usage of such activities, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. up to 1/3 of time.
• Ability to stand up to 1/3 of time, walk, sit, up to 2/3 of time, and to talk or hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, 2/3 or more of time.
• Availability and willingness to work game nights and other community and partner events
