The Lead, Producer/Editor will oversee content and production needs for all cross-functional departments for business and basketball operations at Pistons Sports & Entertainment. Key to this role is a collaborative communication style to lead a group creative producer/editors and align production needs for multiple departments.

What you'll be doing
• Lead Day-to-Day production – scheduling shoots/event coverage, projects and edits and support for virtual events
• Oversight and awareness of gameday production needs, staffing and activities
• Provide guidance and feedback on produced content and share content for approval to key stakeholders
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including but not limited to CSR, Social, partnerships and ticket sales to align content deliverables
• Run Studio & Control Room Production – lead efforts and consistent usage of the studio, working closely with Broadcast Engineer to prepare for events, games and other production
• Collaborate with broadcast partners/staff as needed
• Provide guidance for G-League production efforts
What we're looking for
• Bachelor's degree or qualifying experience.
• 5 years video production and editing experience
• Experience with wide range of video equipment and editing software
• Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro and After Effects for video, Audition for audio, Photoshop and Illustrator for Graphics and Media Encoder to help flip video codecs
• Project management a plus
• Available to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as the need arises.
• Some travel required.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information is required.
