The Assistant Equipment Manager, under the supervision of the Head Equipment Manager, will assist in the day to day operations of the Pistons Equipment room and provide athletic equipment duties to ensure peak performance and readiness of Pistons players on and off the court. This includes, but is not limited to, preparing athletes for practices and games; laundry operations; and help maintaining the equipment room and related facilities.

What you'll be doing:
• Assist in the laundry operation at Little Caesars Arena and the Pistons Performance Center
• Assist with organizing and maintaining equipment inventory
• Assist in preparing the team for practice and games
• Assist in maintaining player and coaches' locker rooms and bathrooms
• Assist with packing and organization of uniforms and travel gear for road games
• Duties and responsibilities that are assigned by the Head Equipment Manager
What we're looking for:
• 3 years of experience in college equipment rooms and/or 2 years hands on experience with NBA, WNBA or G League Equipment
• Outstanding communication skills and a proven track record of collaboration
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to learn various Inventory Databases
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to obtain a valid Michigan driver's license and may be required to obtain a MDOT chauffeurs endorsement
• Ability to travel both domestic and internationally
• Will be required to work weekends, days, nights and holidays as the Pistons schedule dictates.
• Eligibility to work legally in the United States must be maintained
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
