We are looking for multiple SAP Financial Specialist

The Company

Position

The SAP Financial Specialist will report to the SAP Finance Director. Roles and responsibilities will cover the following:

- Liaison between the Deluxe Finance and Accounting team and the IT team for the management of updates and systems enhancements to the SAP system.

- Provide support to the Deluxe Service Desk for SAP related accounting issues, enhancement and user training issues, as Subject Matter Expert.

- Manage on a centralized basis the key SAP master files including Customer, Vendor, Chart of Accounts, and Profit and Cost Centers.

Will interact with Financial Teams at Deluxe Operating divisions/business units throughout the North America, as well as Tax, IT and Administrative Groups

Responsibilities:

§ SAP Production Support and enhancement for SAP FI, CO and HR modules on the SAP ECC 6.0 platform.

§ SAP Finance Master Data (COA, CC, PC) governance and setup.

§ HANDS-ON role - execute FICO and HR configuration, functional documentation, testing plans and results, system documentation and training materials.

§ Assist the business users with the SAP functionality, and participate in the review of business processes and system integration challenges.

§ Liaise with the technical team for custom enhancements and produce detail functional specification documentation.

§ Address help desk issues in areas of expertise and assist with user problems in associated areas.

§ Work on cross-functional project teams for enhancements and future roll outs.

Requirements:

Education

§ Undergraduate degree

§ Master’s degree preferred but not mandatory

Experience

§ 4 + years of SAP FI/CO configuration experience

§ A functional expert in the SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling module with the ability to configure and trouble shoot, design and recommend enhancement strategies. Modules – New GL, AP, AR, FA, CCA, PCA, IO (SAP New GL experience is a must)

§ Fundamental understanding of IDOC’s, and EDI support is required

§ Experience in a production/service environment

§ Skills, Knowledge, Abilities experience in reporting tools such as ABAP queries, Report Painter and Report Writer is required
