POSITION TITLE
Jr. Credit Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY:
We currently have an opening for a Jr. Credit Analyst. Position will be responsible for contacting customers, verifying billing information and cash receipts enabling continued sales growth. This position will be located in Burbank, CA.
MAIN DUTIES:
Working with internal business units to manage and identify potential risks of current and future customers both domestic and international. The Jr. Credit Analyst will also work with customers, billing department and other internal areas as required. This would include past due accounts, exceeded credit lines, slow payment trends, disputed claims, etc.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THIS POSITION would include the following:
• Collection and maintenance of assigned accounts.
• Evaluate, recommend, and manage credit portfolio and exposures.
• Working with customer and business units to resolve/reconcile short-pays, pricing claims, and other miscellaneous deductions/disputes.
• Provide management with the defined reports and metrics as requested.
• Reduce delinquency within assigned portfolio.
• Identify accounts for escalation to supervisor
• Troubleshoot and resolve claims, short-pays, and charge backs on assigned accounts.
• Review application of payments and submit change(s) required to maintain current and accurate account balances.
• Application of credit memo's to related open items on customers account.
• Document all activities and communication relating to customer accounts. Maintain high level of customer confidentiality at all times.
WHAT YOU BRING:
• You demonstrate excellent customer service and the ability to take initiative with at least six months of accounts receivable/customer service experience.
• You possess negotiation and interpersonal skills along with being analytical and a knack for problem-solving.
• You must be organized and able to work in a moderate paced environment.
• You have working knowledge of ERP systems like SAP and collections systems
• You have Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office, and Excel with ability to utilize Excel pivot tables.
