We currently have an opening for a Human Resources Coordinator. This position will be located in New York, NY.
Summary:
Under the supervision of the HR Manager for Creative Services – East Coast, the Human Resources Coordinator performs HR administrative work for the Creative Services Division of Deluxe as well as other general HR administrative duties as assigned. They will provide administrative support to the HR Manager as needed, as well as general support for the entire HR department, including but not limited to management of new hire paperwork flow, office supply maintenance, record keeping, file maintenance, customer service, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Handle general HR related administrative duties for the Creative Services Division
• Act as first point of contact for general employee customer service needs such as common inquiries, form requests, policy interpretation and procedure clarification
• Manage the Personnel Action Notice and Staffing Requisition approval process
• Liaise with Payroll department as needed
• Complete verification of employment (VOE) requests
• Generate offer and status change letters
• Assist with employee onboarding
• Generate reports as needed
• Ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete before HRIS input
• Other projects as assigned
Competencies:

• BA/BS degree preferred.

• Ability to escalate issues proactively and in a timely manner.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Maintains confidentiality, great listening skills, able to take direction, open to change and eager to learn and grow.
• 1 – 2 years Human Resources experience with an interest in pursuing a career in HR.
