Position Overview

We currently have an opening for a Freelance Pro Tools Audio Engineer in our Creative department. This position is located in Burbank, California. The candidate will act as a technical and creative collaborator with the producers and post production staff on a variety of projects including audio recording, editing, mixing and sound design for our Home Entertainment work on menus, games, advanced content, audio commentaries and traditional linear content.

Primary Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Producers to record, design, mix and finish audio for short form features, static and motion menus, games, advanced content and audio commentaries.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set:

- 3 years of creative Pro Tools editing and mixing in a home entertainment or commercial facility.
- Heavy experience in stereo and 5.1 surround sound mixing.
- Vast experience in sound design and dialogue editing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of broadcast audio specifications.
- Knowledge of Pro Tools HD V.8 and TDM Plug Ins.
- Ability to work in supervised or unsupervised environment.
- Flexibility to work day, evening and/or weekend shifts.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with deadline oriented short form projects.
- Previous experience working within the Home Entertainment industry is a plus.
- Ability to compose original music is a bonus.
