Job Title: Coordinator, Content Management
Department: Media Services
Location: Hammersmith
Reports to: Manager - Content Management & Localisation
Overall purpose of the Role
Working as part of the Content Management & Localisation team, the CMLO Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of high quality, value-for-money TV and Feature master materials, working with internal and external vendors, in line with department standards.
The coordinator will also be responsible for the localization (dubbing and subtitling) of various Disney Channel titles across EMEA and Russia so will need to demonstrate excellent customer focus and communication skills; the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure is essential.
Areas of Responsibility
Localisation Responsibilities
• Management of the creation and delivery of dubbing, subtitles and creative metadata for specific titles across multiple territories, recognising unique requirements for each while ensuring creative consistency and cost control.
• Raise accurate and timely Dubbing Work Orders (DWOs) to commission dubbing on behalf of Media Distribution in line within agreed deadlines and to agreed technical standards and costs (SLAs) and enter these onto our tracking system R2.
• Where required, raise Localisation Work Orders (LWOs) through R2 in order to facilitate streamlined delivery of foreign audio tracks.
• Raise accurate and timely orders to request the creation and delivery of dub reference materials.
• Agree dubbing delivery schedules with local studios/offices, monitoring any changes based on materials and/or talent availability and alerting potential delays to key stakeholders.
• Ensure that company systems are updated with dubbing credits, translated titles and synopses and dubbing credits etc.
• Manage Arkena Distribution Lists as required.
• Update and maintain records to reflect current delivery status of materials and client specifications.
• Liaise with internal colleagues and clients to create schedules that are appropriate to the license start date or the broadcast schedule.
• Raise accurate and timely purchase orders.
• Locate and deliver localized graphics and format check information to Vendors.
• Provide weekly schedules to Vendors. Track the completion of projects using Cognos reporting tools.
• Action Rejections and recall notifications and update/replace materials as required.
• Management of workflow and tasks to be undertaken within agreed SLA timelines.
• Research and export metadata documentation from Wonderland and other Disney systems and accurately input into BOLT system.
• Resolve metadata integrity issues across stakeholders.
Library Re-Mastering Responsibilities
• Review all assigned Work Orders in Zeus to determine requirements and priorities.
• Coordinate end to end Mastering to Disney Specifications
• Research Disney systems to establish available elements and request asset movements as directed and required.
• Raise accurate and timely purchase orders in SAP Purchase Order system, to commission the creation of Language masters.
• Raise accurate and timely Internal Servicing Requests (ISRs) and Rejections in Zeus.
• Accurately update and maintain records in Zeus, to reflect current status of projects.
• Liaise with internal customers (Content Distribution) to understand requirements and manage their expectations.
• Liaise with Vendors, review Cognos mastering reports.
Other General Activities
• Attend and contribute to: Team; Departmental; Cluster and communication meetings.
• Timely completion of bi-annual Appraisal with Line Manager.
• Attend training sessions or action development plans as identified during Appraisal.
• Coordinate representation of Media Services within broader Company meetings as required.
• Work effectively with departmental colleagues and cross-functionally with other members of DTCI
• Work with TWDC Accounts Payable to resolve Vendor billing issues.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external parties.
• Maintain a strong awareness of technical developments in the digital media space.
• Adhere to defined DTCI business processes, taking opportunities to improve.
• Drive to continually develop knowledge of the product slate, media types and the territories, including customers & market dynamics.
• Provide training for colleagues as required.
• Ensure other Departments are familiar with our role, and how to access relevant information.
• Participate in systems testing and contribute suggestions for workflow and systems improvement.
• Provide holiday and sickness cover for colleagues under the 'Buddy' scheme.
Experience and Professional Qualifications Required
• A minimum of two years' experience in media Distribution/Post Production required
• Experience of File based and High Definition technology, New Media and electronic file delivery.
• Experience of Mastering QC analysis and corrective recommendations an advantage.
• Excellent project management skills and experience essential
• High level of computer literacy essential
• Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent.
