About the team - Localization
The global demand for entertainment content today is unprecedented. Deluxe provides worldwide audiences with the latest features and original content of all kinds.
We are one of the world's leading localization facilities. We provide clients and therefore end users with a worldwide service offering in over 50 languages for theatrical, home entertainment, broadcast TV and OTT.
With traditional cinema and home entertainment facing further disruption from online platforms and evolving user expectations, Deluxe is looking to attract bright and talented people who are unfazed by the shifting media world.
Main Duties:
• Client Service: As the Account Coordinator you will be one of the main points of contact with the Disney client. Regular in-person meetings and daily calls with the client will be a main function for this role to ensure all client needs are met regarding their projects.
• Meet the client's request for all work to be delivered right and on-time at 99% success rate.
• Ensure client emails are responded to within one hour.
• Denote any Client specific rules and special instructions to all departments in a clear and concise format.
• Workflow Responsibilities: As a key member on the team you will be coordinating Disney's most high-profile new release titles for both Theatrical and In-home release.
• You will be responsible for managing all aspects of subtitling projects, from the initial work request through to final delivery and post-delivery action when required, supervising the execution of your projects with foreign offices in Bangalore, London, and Los Angeles.
• Work with internal production teams and Disney studio contacts to maintain delivery schedule.
• For your own projects you are managing, you will need to independently sort through the email inbox and tackle emails based on priority.
• Setting up projects on Sfera and sending out work requests to production teams. This includes research of needed materials (dubbing scripts, NTLs, existing subtitle files, etc.).
• Monitoring availability of materials and following up on needed assets – Video and scripts.
• Ensuring your projects are delivered on the correct due date and looking ahead. Will need to check in with teams to ensure they are on track ahead of scheduled delivery.
• Liaising with the client regularly to ensure special instructions are implemented.
• Understanding the POAs set by Project Coordinators for all atypical projects
• Acting on client rejections on priority (this includes research and response to the client with root cause analysis and preventative solutions)
• Covering for team member when they are out and providing very detailed offloads for when you are out on vacation.
• Ensuring the client is billed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in team calls with representatives from our global offices
Qualifications
• BA or BS degree preferred.
• 2-5 years post-production, project management, or translation industry experience required.
• Must have strong interpersonal, cross-cultural, and communication skills.
• Must be highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced, large team environment.
• Must also be able to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, inventory, internet, order processing, and database software.
• Solid technical understanding of the television or film distribution industry a plus.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines.
