Deadline is adding a Junior Digital Sales Planner to our staff in our Los Angeles, CA offices.
We are seeking a planner with a positive attitude, who prides themselves on being a team-player and is always willing to learn. The ideal candidate will have an immense attention to detail, critical thinking skills, excellent reading, writing and communication skills and can work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist sales and the planning team with booking multi-media campaigns in Salesforce and PIO for Deadline, and Gold Derby.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders, clients and agencies for pre-sale and post-sale support.
- Generate media plans, RFPs, and insertion orders often requiring tight turnaround.
- Manage inventory calendars and docs for digital, print, and event campaigns.
- Coordinate and project manage, newsletter/video/podcast sponsorships across Deadline and Gold Derby.
- Create screenshot decks for current and future campaigns utilizing PowerPoint and Dropbox.
- Ad hoc projects as needed
Job requirements:
- 1 year of advertising agency, media or business experience (digital a plus).
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Knowledge of Salesforce, PIO and Airtable a plus.
- Ability to work with all internal stakeholders including leadership, sales, planning, marketing, AdOps, etc.
As Deadline values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.
