Fall Intern - Executive Office

This is a Full Time Unpaid Internship

Davenport Theatrical Enterprises is currently seeking interns for the fall semester. DTE is a Broadway and Off-Broadway production company, with general management, marketing, and group sales departments. Recent projects include Deaf West's Spring Awakening, Kinky Boots, Allegiance, and It's Only a Play on Broadway and Daddy Long Legs Off-Broadway. A monthly Metrocard is provided for most positions, along with a stipend upon successful completion of the internship for all positions

The Executive Intern works with Ken Davenport's Producing Associate and his Executive Assistant. Responsibilities include copy editing/proofreading, answering phones, managing investor and company data, research projects and maintaining the general upkeep of the office space. The Executive Intern must have strong verbal and written communication skills, friendly phone demeanor, be attentive to detail, and must be knowledgeable about the theater industry and Broadway community. Opportunities will be available to attend readings, seminars, and other office events. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, HTML and WordPress is a plus. Applicants should be eager to learn, able to take initiative, and ready to jump in wherever needed. Positions available: One full time.
