Mobile recording studio/live event marketing company is looking for an energetic, talented, and enthusiastic on-board engineer with strong audio and video experience. MUST be a college graduate and posses the proper skill-sets listed in the job description, as well as the ability to live on-the-road and maintain professionalism with artists and personnel.
Technical Proficiencies
In terms of technical proficiencies, all Bus staff candidates should meet as many of the following criteria as possible:
Experience in a recording studio environment.
Proficient in the use of Apple Macintosh computers, able to keep a clean/organized file structure, data backup, small local area networks, and system maintenance.
Proficiency with the following applications: Logic Studio, Final Cut Studio 2, Pro Tools HD & LE and the use of audio plugins. The Bus utilizes these apps extensively while working with artists.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Reason, Ableton Live, Sibelius, and Keynote.
Proficiency working with digital recording hardware/software including the ability to configure digital audio word clock configurations, use analog and digital patchbays, set cue mixes, and a thorough understanding of signal flow and gain structure.
Ability to interface MIDI gear with DAWs.
Experience shooting digital video with correct camera technique and an eye for creative and unique shots.
Experience editing digital video and DVD authoring.
Experience setting up small live PA, engineering/mixing live concerts, and performing remote recordings of those concerts.
