This is a Full Time Job
Job Purpose: The Special Projects Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of company events occurring outside of Game Presentation. This includes press conferences, sponsor events, draft parties, and organizational events across the DFW metroplex. The role assists the Executive Assistant & Special Projects Manager with cross-departmental projects requiring timely and organized execution.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing company events outside of Game Presentation. *
• Develop and execute event plans outlining timelines, tasks, responsibilities, and desired outcomes. *
• Ensure events deliver a high-quality experience while balancing budgets and operational constraints.
• Create event concepts, themes, décor, entertainment, and catering plans.
• Identify, source, and manage vendors including caterers, venues, rentals, and production partners. 8
• Manage event setup, on-site execution, and event breakdown. *
• Collaborate with Marketing on materials, communications, and promotional needs.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure alignment on event resources, schedules, and deliverables.
• Support cross-departmental projects ensuring deadlines and objectives are met. 8
• Other duties as assigned.
Game Day Duties/Responsibilities:
• Act as point of contact for event attendees and vendors on game days.
• Ensure guest and vendor needs are met professionally and promptly.
• Assist the Company Events & Special Projects Manager with day-of-game needs.
• Prolonged standing, walking and extended work hours.
• Must be available to attend all home games for Dallas Wings, as well as attend select community events. Games & events may take place on nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Job Requirements:
• Formal Education & Relevant Work Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in live events, sports, marketing, or related fields.
• Work Location & Hours: Work is performed in the community, office and/or at one of the arenas as determined necessary by the Company. Must be available to attend all home games for both Dallas Wings, as well as attend company events. Games & events may take place on nights, weekends, and/or holidays.*

• Knowledge of DFW area preferred.
• Must attend ALL home games and all applicable live events.
Physical Requirements*
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, walking and extended work hours.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods during games and events.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
• Hearing, seeing, reading, writing, concentration, comprehension, and talking with clear speech.
• Planning, organizing, interpreting data, making decisions, problem-solving, and composure under deadlines/stress.
