Job Purpose: The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting brand awareness and elevating the Dallas Wings' presence through execution of fan-forward storytelling campaigns across digital, in-arena, and community channels. This role blends creative marketing execution, brand support, and cross-department collaboration to help bring the Wings brand to life in meaningful, consistent, and engaging ways. The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented, and versatile marketer who understands how to execute brand campaigns, support content initiatives, and enhance the fan experience.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
• Support the execution of integrated brand marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and affinity for the Dallas Wings. *
• Assist in maintaining brand consistency across creative, digital, social, in-arena, and partner assets. *
• Manage and update the Wings' website (WordPress), ensuring content remains current, on-brand, and aligned with marketing priorities. *
• Support paid social and digital advertising efforts, including assisting with asset trafficking, copywriting, and creative coordination. *
• Serve as a liaison for cross-department marketing requests, helping coordinate timelines, deliverables, and campaign launches.
• Assist with ordering, inventory tracking, and production of giveaway items and printed materials, ensuring brand alignment and cost efficiency.
• Support storytelling across marketing channels including website, social media, partnerships, and community initiatives.
• Utilize Monday.com as a workflow tool to track projects, maintain timelines, and support cross-functional collaboration. *
• Assist with campaign performance tracking and reporting, using insights to support marketing optimization efforts.
• Collaborate with creative, content, ticketing, community, and partnerships teams to support execution of cohesive marketing initiatives. *
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Game Day Duties/Responsibilities:
• Support execution of in-arena marketing, fan engagement, and promotional activations during Dallas Wings home games. *
• Assist with real-time game operations including social support, running promotional cards/scripts, and coordinating with game presentation staff. *
• Help with setup, distribution, and breakdown of giveaways, signage, and concourse marketing elements. *
• Must be available to attend all home games for Dallas Wings, as well as attend select community events. Games & events may take place on nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Job Requirements:
• Formal Education & Relevant Work Experience:
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, brand marketing, or related role.
• Experience in WordPress and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) preferred.
• Familiarity with paid social, content coordination, and multi-channel campaign planning.
• Work Location & Hours: Work is performed in the community, office and/or at one of the arenas as determined necessary by the Company. Must be available to attend all home games for both Dallas Wings, as well as attend company events. Games & events may take place on nights, weekends, and/or holidays.*

Physical Requirements*
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, walking and extended work hours.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods during games and events.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
• Hearing, seeing, reading, writing, concentration, comprehension, and talking with clear speech.
• Planning, organizing, interpreting data, making decisions, problem-solving, and composure under deadlines/stress.
