MANAGER, SOCIAL AND DIGITAL CONTENT
Position Summary: The Manager of Social and Digital Content will build the most engaging and exciting social media and digital content experiences in sports. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing, he/she will help bring marketing and media strategies to life throughout all areas of the business (marketing, sponsorships, in-game, to name a few) and support content ideation, content and strategy execution, post scheduling, reporting and analysis. The Manager of Social and Digital Content will help grow the Dallas Wings' creativity, engagement and connection across multiple touchpoints including, but not limited to social media, digital media, in-game, sponsorship activations, community relations and experiential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Create and manage unique, engaging and relevant content for the Dallas Wings' social media and digital platforms
• Produce content that drives brand awareness, increases ticket sales and shapes the organization's identity across all social media and digital platforms.
• Perhaps Collaborate with other members of the Marketing department to serve the organization at large to curate content for all social media and digital platforms
• Create high quality and compelling creative assets for all social media and digital platforms that maximizes engagement, follower growth and effectively communicates/amplifies the organization's message
• Ensure the uniformity in design between social media and design departments
• Monitor, analyze and track activity across all social platforms
• Organize performance reports and analytics to keep the organization informed of the effectiveness of content
• Have a strong familiarity and understanding of the Dallas Wings brand and culture
• Identify new opportunities to grow the Dallas Wings brand through content for all areas of the business
• Assist in paid advertising campaigns and the organization of necessary creative elements needed to execute those media campaigns
• Stay on top of evolving social networks and make recommendations on best ways to revise the Dallas Wings' practices to adapt and excel.

• Be able to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Be able to identify areas of opportunity and propose potential solutions while continuing to lead projects without interruption
• She/he is expected to attend ALL home games, as well as other live events that may take place on holidays or weekends and cover all of them for social media
Education
and Background:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience producing content for social media and managing social media accounts for professional sports teams; 3 years preferred.
• Experience with Photoshop, inDesign and other Adobe applications
• Experience with Hootsuite
• Experience managing video productions for social media
• Be able to provide references as requested
