Job Purpose: The Dallas Wings communication department is excited to announce an opening for a Game Night Staff position for the upcoming season. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience working with the public relations team during home games. The selected candidates will play a crucial role in game-day operations, assisting in various areas of media relations.
Game Night Staff are responsible for handling, preparing, and executing all elements in support of Wings game days for the 2025 WNBA season. As part of the Wings communications game night staff, you will assist with game preparation, credentialing and supporting the coordination of information shared with the media. Selected candidates are expected to work all Wings home games, which may take place on nights, weekends and/or holidays.
This is a part-time contracted role that will report to the VP of Communications & Broadcasting.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
• Support Wings Media/Public Relations at home games for about five hours for each home game (arrive two-and-a-half hours before each game)
• Assist with press area operations during games
• Label seats, post media seating charts, and photo lane charts
• Distribute media credentials and photo arm bands at media check-in
• Collect photo arm bands after each game
• Support pre- and post-game press conferences, as well as other media availabilities
• Print and distribute stat sheets
• Answer questions from media members at games and direct them to full-time staff for guidance
Required Skills
, Experience and Abilities:
• College juniors, seniors, or recent graduates, or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to work all Dallas Wings home games, which includes weekends and holidays, if necessary.
• Must demonstrate professionalism, a customer-first attitude, enthusiasm, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work Location & Hours: Work is performed at one of the arenas as determined necessary by the Company. Must be available to attend all home games for Dallas Wings. Games may take place on nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
• Hearing, seeing, reading, writing, concentration, comprehension, and talking with clear speech.
Planning, organizing, interpreting data, making decisions, problem-solving, and composure under deadlines/stress.
