Full Time Job
Do you love event planning and have experience with team leadership in a constantly evolving environment? As the Event Presentation Coordinator, you will help plan and implement Dallas Wings and Panther City Lacrosse Club events each year. Your talents in communication and organization will help us put on the show at home games, as well as, crafting top-tier season ticket member and VIP events, external sponsorship events, grassroots marketing events, community events and various fan-focused events around the DFW area.
In this role you will:
• Supervise and communicate with part-time event staff/promotional team including event and game night scheduling
• Assist with booking talent for home games, including National Anthem talent, half-time performances, and mascot talent
• Act as event lead for oversight of concourse entertainment, on-court promotions, interactive elements, theme night activations and giveaway distribution at all Dallas Wings and Panther City Lacrosse Club home games
• Execute in-game and post-game live programming, including scheduled performances, National Anthem, ceremonies, on-court activations, interactions between the promotional team and fans, in-game host and mascot elements
• Serve as event lead for some of both teams' external events
• Help to schedule and lead event planning meetings
• Implement part-time staff handbooks, training programs and attire guidelines
• Communicate all aspects of event logistics with internal departments as well as vendors and arena (or venue) staff for assigned events or as required
• Support inventory management efforts by assisting with tracking and logging, ensuring the return of event collateral to storage, and maintaining inventory to keep in good, ready to use, condition
• Work closely with Director of Game Presentation and Live Events to produce scripting and run of show for various events
• Coordinate the details of occasional external activations including logistics of equipment, transportation, catering, staffing or other needs as required
• Serve as a brand ambassador for the organization during interactions with vendors, sponsors, and other constituent groups throughout the community
• Other duties as assigned
What you'll bring to the role:
• A minimum of one year of experience in the field of live sports entertainment
• Experience supervising and motivating part-time staff in a fast-paced team environment
• Outstanding interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication as well as excellent listening skills
• Display flexibility and positivity to others in the face of change and last-minute initiatives
• Calm and collected - navigating change without being rattled and making clear decisions in time-sensitive situations
• Display strengths in organization and time management with strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of and interest in professional women's basketball (WNBA) and box lacrosse (NLL)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Photoshop experience a plus

This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Director of Game Presentation and Live Events.
