Full Time Job
Job Purpose: The Director of Social and Digital Content will build the most engaging and exciting social media and digital content experiences in sports. He/she/they will help bring marketing and media strategies to life throughout all areas of the business (marketing, sponsorships, in-game, ticket sales, etc.) and support content ideation, strategy, execution, post-scheduling, reporting, and analysis.
The Director of Social and Digital Media will help grow the creativity, engagement, and connection across multiple touchpoints for multiple sports teams, currently the Dallas Wings and Panther City Lacrosse Club as well as associated Foundations. This person will oversee team websites, as well as email communication, with the goal of creating multiple touchpoints and increased engagement.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
• Oversight of all team digital assets, including social media channels, team websites and email communication, ensuring continuity across all platforms
• Execute digital and social planning and execution, including game days and select events (i.e. draft, fan or community events, etc.)
• Manage calendars and campaigns across all social media platforms
• Managing day-to-day social media activities, including, but not limited to writing/scheduling copy, responding to messages, identifying influencers and topical subject matter where the teams can effectively join larger conversations
• Work with creative services to develop sponsorship deliverables that tie to team branding
• Collaborate with all departments, including marketing, social responsibility, partnerships and broadcast, to ensure cohesive messaging
• Analyze and monitor applicable KPIs across all social and digital platforms, providing monthly reports to leadership
• Stay up to date with industry trends for tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
• Contribute to content development as needed/required
• Work closely with the Strategic Marketing Director to enhance and support paid media
• Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Formal Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Relevant Work Experience:
• 5-7 years of experience producing content for social and digital media, with an understanding of building season-long strategy and monitoring/measuring KPIs
• Knowledgeable in Photoshop, InDesign, Hootsuite, and other relevant applications
• Preferred experience:
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud, data analytics, html link tagging/tracking and conversions, WordPress, search engine optimization and analytics, HTML and CCS coding
• Work Location & Hours: Work is performed in office and/or at one of the arenas as determined necessary by the Company. Must be available to attend all home games for both Dallas Wings and Panther City Lacrosse Club, as well as attend company events. Games & events may take place on nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

• Ability to multi-task, work independently and handle creative feedback
• Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, including coverage/attendance of all home games and events as required
• Ability to identify areas of opportunity and propose potential solutions while continuing to lead projects without interruption
• Self-starter; motivated and enthusiastic about learning and implementing best practices and contributing to a team environment
Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
• Hearing, seeing, reading, writing, concentration, comprehension, and talking with clear speech
• Planning, organizing, interpreting data, making decisions, problem-solving, and composure under deadlines/stress
