Director of Game Presentation & Live Events
Position Summary: The Director of Game Presentation will build the most engaging and exciting game experiences and live events in the DFW Metroplex. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing, the Director of Game Presentation will be responsible for creating, implementing and executing the creative vision of in-arena and live event experiences for a WNBA team (Dallas Wings) and potentially a second sports-oriented property. The Director of Game Presentation will oversee all live events, game presentation and entertainment staff including in-arena hosts, DJ, promotional team, production crews, and other entertainment staff. He/She will also be responsible for building all programming, scripts, runs of shows and recaps for all events for all teams.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in Game Presentation for a sports team and executing live entertainment productions with proven success results
Photoshop and InDesign experience a plus
Experience managing video productions a plus
Be able to provide references as requested
Essential Functions:
• Responsible for directing all home games and live events including Sponsorship events, Ticket Sales Events and other Marketing events around the DFW metroplex as needed
• Develop creative and engaging content and execute top quality fan experiences at every home game and live event
• Coordinate all video board content production with the venues and manage the execution of all in-game creative assets and scripts including, but not limited to in-game features, sponsor activations, and brand video elements.
• Lead the development and execution of Media Day video production
• Work closely with Corporate Partnerships, Social Responsibility, Ticket Sales, PR and Social Media departments to develop the most engaging in-game promotions that maximize the fan experience and satisfy partner needs and obligations
• Book all talent for all home games and live events including, but not limited to, National Anthem talent, half-time performances, post-game performances, mascot talent, seasonal support staff as needed and promotional teams
• Manage all game-day staff including DJ, PA announcer, promotional team, all game-day talent
• Provide direction to venues' production and control room staff and game night staff to ensure every contest, performance, and sponsored element is executed properly every single game
• Collaborate with internal departments to create, develop and execute brand-focused initiatives in-arena during games and live events
• Plan, develop and execute pre-game, in-game and post-game entertainment ideas including, but not limited to: All scheduled performances, National Anthem, ceremonies, on-court activations, videos, music, interactions between the promotional team and fans, scoreboard and LED board graphics and animations, game MC, mascot, scoreboard operation, PA announcer and control room staff
• Manage the operations of the scorer's table and liaise with stats crews as needed prior to each game

• She/he is expected to attend ALL home games at College Park center, as well as other live events that may take place on holidays or weekends
Education
and Background:
