Intern - Mavericks Archivist / Photography

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

The Dallas Mavericks is currently seeking an intern for the Marketing Photography Department as an Archivist/Photographer. The Dallas Mavericks internship program is part-time and allow students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience within a professional sports organization.

A successful applicant should be self-motivated; demonstrate strong relationship building skills along with initiative, resourcefulness, and an ability to work creatively and proactively while collaborating in a team environment. The candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment but driven to take the initiative to succeed when presented with individual work responsibilities. 

The Marketing Archivist/Photography Intern should possess the following: 
• Strong written and organizational skills
• Sense of Mavericks history
• Event photography skills
• Photo inventory knowledge

Preferred Requirements:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Current student enrolled in a college or university, preferably an art student
