Internship Start Date/Season: Summer (early May - late August)
Internship Duration: 4 months
Time/Days Required: 15-20h/week
Workplace Requirements: mostly remote, with optional one day per week in-person at Studio City office
Main duties:
Covering scripts and books, looking into book and article rights and doing director/actor lists for different projects. There will be some administrative work like logging information, data entry, and setting up systems. Opportunity to learn the business and story development.
About the company: Curate was founded in November of 2021 by established literary manager Britton Rizzio. The company represents elevated creators in film, TV, books and the international space. Curate's clients include Jac Schaeffer (WandaVision), Emily Carmichael (Jurassic World: Dominion), Emily St. John Mandel (Station Eleven), Oren Uziel (22 Jump Street, The Lost City), Heidi Schreck (What the Constitution Means to Me), Laura Eason (Three Women), Henry Chaisson (Antlers), Cody Heller (Jury Duty), Heather Quinn (Werewolf by Night), and Sarah Lampert (Ginny & Georgia).
