A&R Consultant

Crush Music is a management company based in Los Angeles and New York. We manage recording artists including Sia, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Lorde, Panic! at the Disco, Weezer, Train, Lykke Li, MAX and many others. We also manage or publish a small group of highly elite songwriters and producers. We're looking for a someone who wants be on the front lines with all of our songwriter/producer clients in a day to day role. You will report directly to Crush head of A&R Evan Taubenfeld who will mentor and oversee you the entire time you work here. If you want to ever get into publishing, A&R, producer/writer management this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Potential day-to-day tasks include:
• Developing ideas for artist collaborations, remixes, & features
• Active management of client calendars, schedules, travel
• Setting up collaborations
• Pitching songs
• Soliciting new opportunities
• Negotiating song splits and deals
• Invoicing
• Travel, studio, housing
• Registerring songs w/ PROs
• Compiling Excel spreadsheets (knowledge of Microsoft Office programs)
• Monitor social media sites including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, SoundCloud, Google Trends, Tumblr, etc.
• Candidates must be proactive, responsible, able to act appropriately with our high profile artists and uphold strict policy of non-disclosure (a signed NDA is collected upon acceptance of the position)
