Regional Marketing Operations Manager - Europe
Crunchyroll
London, ENThis is a Full Time Job
About the Role
The Manager, Regional Marketing Operations is responsible for turning global and regional marketing priorities into coordinated, localized, production-ready, and successfully delivered marketing activity across the Region.
This role owns the regional execution layer of the marketing operating model, connecting Regional Marketing with Crunchyroll’s global operational capabilities. The candidate will ensure campaigns are operationally planned, assets are produced and localized to regional requirements, dependencies are managed, and final materials are delivered accurately and on time across relevant regional channels and partners.
A critical responsibility of the role is the end-to-end management of marketing localization for the Region. This includes localization of all marketing assets used regionally, whether those assets originate from a global campaign or are created specifically for a regional initiative. The Manager coordinates translation, transcreation, adaptation, versioning, approvals, quality checks, and delivery of localized marketing materials, working closely with Global Localization while remaining accountable for regional marketing localization readiness.
The role operates as the regional counterpart to Global Operations, Content and Marketing and Distribution Operations, Content and Marketing, with particularly close interfaces to Integrated Planning, Campaign Operations, Marketing Production, and Marketing Delivery. The objective is to leverage common global processes, technology, production capabilities, and standards while ensuring regional priorities, language requirements, cultural considerations, channels, and market-specific needs are fully represented
Key Responsibilities
• Regional Marketing Operations & Execution: Own the operational coordination of the Region’s marketing activity, translating global and regional marketing strategies into executable plans, milestones, asset requirements, localization needs, dependencies, and delivery schedules. Maintain an integrated view of regional marketing readiness and ensure activities move effectively from planning through execution.
• Regional Integrated Planning: Partner closely with Integrated Planning to incorporate regional priorities, launches, campaigns, tentpoles, local initiatives, and market requirements into the broader global marketing planning process. Translate global plans into actionable regional timelines while providing early visibility into local requirements, resource constraints, localization lead times, and execution risks.
• End-to-End Marketing Localization Management: Manage the localization workflow for all global and regional marketing assets required by the Region, including copy, key art, trailers, video, social assets, paid-media creative, CRM materials, partner assets, promotional content, and other campaign deliverables. Coordinate translation, transcreation, cultural adaptation, versioning, review, approvals, QA, and final delivery, ensuring localized assets are accurate, brand-appropriate, culturally relevant, and available against campaign deadlines. Partner with Global Localization on standards, technology, vendors, workflows, terminology, and quality frameworks while retaining operational accountability for regional marketing localization.
• Marketing Production Coordination: Partner with Marketing Production to communicate regional production and localization requirements early, define necessary versions and formats, and ensure global source assets are structured to enable efficient regional adaptation. Coordinate requests for region-specific materials where global assets do not meet local needs while avoiding unnecessary duplication of global production capabilities. For regionally originated campaigns, manage the operational interface between regional creative requirements and the appropriate production resources.
• Marketing Delivery Coordination: Work closely with Marketing Delivery within Distribution Operations, Content and Marketing to ensure final global and localized marketing assets are packaged, distributed, and made available to the correct regional destinations on time. Coordinate region-specific channel requirements, specifications, deadlines, and partner needs and provide clear escalation when assets are missing, incorrect, delayed, or unable to meet delivery requirements.
• Regional Stakeholder & Market Coordination: Partner with Regional Marketing, Content, Social, CRM, Paid Media, Partnerships, Brand, PR, and other local stakeholders to consolidate operational requirements and create one coordinated regional view of campaign execution. Ensure stakeholders have clear visibility into asset availability, localization status, production milestones, delivery readiness, risks, and decisions required.
• Regional Campaign & Asset Readiness: Establish clear readiness checkpoints for priority campaigns and launches, validating that required source assets, localized versions, formats, approvals, metadata, specifications, and delivery destinations are complete. Identify risks early and coordinate resolution across Campaign Operations, Marketing Production, Global Localization, Marketing Delivery, and regional teams before they impact campaign activation.
• Regional and Partner-Specific Requirements: Own the operational coordination of marketing requirements unique to the Region, including local platforms, commercial partners, media channels, regulatory considerations, language requirements, cultural adaptations, and market-specific formats. Ensure these requirements are communicated sufficiently early to global teams to allow them to be incorporated efficiently into production and delivery workflows.
• Operational Issue & Escalation Management: Serve as the regional operational control point when marketing assets, localization, production, or delivery issues threaten campaign execution. Coordinate cross-functional triage, maintain clear accountability through resolution, communicate impact and status to regional stakeholders, and escalate systemic issues to the appropriate global teams.
• Performance & Continuous Improvement: Track regional marketing operations performance across campaign readiness, on-time asset availability, localization turnaround, production delivery, error rates, rework, and recurring operational issues. Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, improve global-to-regional handoffs, reduce duplicate work, automate repetitive activity, and strengthen the scalability of Crunchyroll’s marketing operating model.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
• 8 years of experience in marketing operations, campaign operations, creative operations, localization, marketing production, media operations, or a related field, ideally within entertainment, streaming, media, technology, or another global consumer business.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-market marketing campaigns with significant dependencies across planning, creative production, localization, asset management, and delivery.
• Strong understanding of marketing localization, including translation, transcreation, cultural adaptation, asset versioning, review and approval workflows, and the operational requirements associated with delivering localized creative at scale.
• Experience coordinating both globally originated campaigns and locally originated marketing activity, with the ability to operate effectively
