About the role
We’re looking for a senior strategy leader to own and drive company-wide strategic planning and execution at Crunchyroll. As Director of Enterprise Strategy & Initiatives in the Office of the President, you’ll operate as a trusted extension of the President, bringing structure to complex decisions, aligning leaders around clear priorities, and ensuring strategy translates into action.
Reporting to the VP, Chief of Staff, this role sits at the center of the business. You’ll lead company-wide planning, shape the narratives that guide decisions, and drive high-impact, cross-functional initiatives across a global subscription business.
Core Areas of Responsibility
• Own the end-to-end company-wide strategic planning process
• Translate complex ideas into clear strategies, priorities, and company-wide narratives
• Build materials that drive alignment and execution across the business
• Maintain a clear point of view on priorities, trade-offs, and performance
• Lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution
• Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities, and drive actions to accelerate progress
• Represent the Office of the President in key forums, aligning senior stakeholders and driving outcomes
• Develop executive- and board-level presentations, memos, and communications
• Turn complex topics into clear, compelling narratives that influence decisions
• Prepare briefings and decision frameworks for leadership discussions
• Build analyses and business cases to inform key trade-offs
• Partner with the Chief of Staff on evolving priorities and special projects
We are considering applicants available to work a hybrid schedule, with three days each week onsite at our Los Angeles office.
About You

• 12 years in management consulting and/or corporate strategy, with experience owning enterprise or company-wide planning
• Experience in subscription, SVOD/streaming, or direct-to-consumer businesses
• 5 years of experience building and leading high-performing teams
• A structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to turn ambiguity into clear direction
• Experience creating executive- and board-level materials that drive decisions
• Strong analytical skills, including building business cases and decision frameworks
• A track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders
• MBA or advanced degree, or equivalent experience in strategy, operations, or leadership roles

Salary/Benefits
$183,000 - $228,000 /year USD
Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
