Product Development Coordinator
CrunchLabs
Sunnyvale, CAThis is a Full Time Job
Product Development Coordinator
What This Job Actually Is?
You’ll help keep CrunchLabs products moving from first sample to final shipment and make sure every toy is ready for its close-up.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves keeping things organized, figuring things out, and jumping in wherever needed. One minute you might be tracking down a product sample from a vendor, the next you’re prepping toys for a photoshoot, organizing our Golden Room, or troubleshooting a build that decided to stop cooperating five minutes before filming.
You’ll work across Product Development, Sourcing, Creative, and Production to make sure our toys are where they need to be, when they need to be there, and actually work when they arrive.
Shipping & Vendor Coordination
Keep track of product samples coming in and going out, and make sure the right people know where things stand.
Pull, pack, and ship samples for research, giveaways, partners, shoots, and other requests, sometimes on very short notice.
Coordinate with vendors, carriers, Sourcing, and internal teams to keep shipments moving.
Keep tracking information and documentation organized so nobody has to wonder where that very important box went.
Help with minor product and bill of materials updates as needed.
Product Organization & Inventory
Own the day-to-day organization of our product samples, components, and other important pieces of CrunchLabs history.
Keep toys, parts, and tools organized, maintained, and functional through a grab-and-go system so the team can quickly find what they need.
Make sure giveaway boxes and frequently needed products are prepped and ready to go.
Build and maintain systems that keep samples and components easy to find, track, and use.
Quality & Product Support
Help review product samples and builds for quality, consistency, and functionality.
Spot things that look off, don’t work quite right, or could be improved before products move forward.
Work with the team to troubleshoot issues and make sure samples are ready for production, partners, or distribution.
Lights, Camera, Toys
Support shoots by making sure products are built, functional, and camera-ready.
Jump in when a toy decides to misbehave at exactly the wrong moment.
Prep products for photography, website images, marketing assets, and other creative needs.
Occasionally join the Production team for local filming when extra product support is needed.
What You Need
You’re organized, hands-on, and probably happiest with a screwdriver in one hand and a tracking number in the other.
You’re extremely organized and actually enjoy keeping track of lots of moving pieces.
You follow through and don’t need someone reminding you three times.
You’re comfortable using basic tools and troubleshooting things when they don’t work.
You communicate clearly with vendors and teammates across different functions.
You’re flexible when priorities change, because around here, they will.
You like STEM, tinkering, building, problem-solving, or figuring out how things work.
You’re willing to jump in and help, whether that means packing boxes, testing a toy, tracking down a shipment, or fixing something before a shoot.
You can work on-site in Sunnyvale, CA five days a week, with occasional local filming support.
