About the Role
We're looking for a resourceful, hands-on Facilities & Workplace Operations Assistant to keep our office running 3 days a week. Working closely with our Facilities team, you'll be the on-the-ground person who gets things done.

• What You'll Do
Workplace Support

Assist the Studio Manager in executing the daily lunch program, coordinating with delivery vendors, receiving and setting up meals
Break down and clean up after lunch service, including washing dishes, wiping down surfaces, and resetting the kitchen and dining area
Maintain the snack and beverage program by monitoring stock levels, identifying what needs replenishing, and restocking fridges, pantries, and snack stations
Perform routine inventory counts of food, beverages, and kitchen supplies, flagging low stock to the Studio Manager for reordering
Help receive and put away deliveries
Ensure the kitchen, dining areas, and offices are clean, organized, and stocked throughout the day
Help prepare workstations and spaces for new hires as directed

Facilities & Building Upkeep Repairs and Maintenance

Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues with office equipment, appliances, and infrastructure alongside the Facilities Manager
Handle minor repairs independently - furniture assembly and fixes, patching and painting, door hardware, light fixtures, plumbing basics, and more
Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs and flag issues to the Facilities Manager
Support vendor visits by providing access, escorting contractors, and communicating any follow-up needs
Ensure all conference rooms hardware are working properly
Assist with set up and break down for onsite events, meetings, or office reconfigurations
Hang artwork, whiteboards, shelving, and signage
Identify when a job requires a licensed contractor and escalate to the Facilities Manager

What We're Looking For

2-4 years of experience in a facilities, maintenance, or workplace operations role
Comfortable with a wide range of hands-on tasks and are a self-starter & take initiative
A team player who communicates well and keeps managers in the loop
Good judgment about when to DIY and when to escalate
Reliable, proactive, and takes ownership of assigned tasks
Valid driver's license
